The entire complex is governed by the geometry of the path, namely the linear flow of urban reconnection. Just as natural ecosystems thrive through connectivity, the “Reconnect Ostuni” project uses soft mobility to maximize accessibility and minimize the fragmentation of public space. The design teaches us the importance of integration, visual continuity, and the enhancement of historical landscapes through functional innovation.

The urban park consists of covered (covered parking, local market) and uncovered (Piazza Italia, play areas, green promenade) zones that demonstrate, in their mutual relationships, the efficiency of organic design in managing different functions simultaneously. The same can be said for the “Space of Occasions” and the “Quiet among the Trees,” where the rhythm of integrated vegetation and new plantings become moments of experiential socialization under a clear architectural vision. A sequence of public realms expresses the strength of the urban forest, drawing a landscape that restores a profound sense of belonging to the community.
